International President of EMA

Prof. Dr. Anders Poulsen is an eminent scholar in sports sciences, nutrition, and educational development, with more than two decades of international experience in research, academic coordination, and institutional leadership. He has actively contributed to research projects on nutrition, health promotion, and sustainable development, and has participated in European programs and Erasmus+ initiatives linking physical education with youth empowerment and social integration.

As International President of EMA, he provides strategic vision and ensures that the organization is firmly grounded in scientific standards while advancing the cultural and educational values of martial arts. His leadership reflects the balance between academic rigor and the preservation of traditional knowledge, positioning EMA as a global reference in martial arts and sports education.

Prof. Dr. Vincent Schmit

International Vice President of EMA
Nationality: Luxembourgish

Prof. Dr. Vincent Schmit is an expert in educational sciences and intercultural pedagogy, with a strong academic background in curriculum design and social inclusion. He has collaborated on European initiatives in intercultural education and published studies focusing on the ethical and social dimensions of education in multicultural contexts. His academic and institutional work demonstrates a sustained contribution to intercultural dialogue and the development of innovative pedagogical approaches.

As International Vice President of EMA, he oversees the coordination of affiliated schools and research initiatives, ensuring consistency in training standards and the recognition of qualifications. His role strengthens the link between EMA’s academic mission and its practical implementation, ensuring that the principles of education and ethics are applied at both national and international levels.

Prof. Dr. Stefano Draghi

International Director of EMA
Nationality: Italian

Prof. Dr. Stefano Draghi is recognized as one of the most distinguished figures in the international martial arts community. With more than four decades of experience, he began his journey in Judo in 1977 and later continued in Ju-Jitsu under Shike G.S. Bertoletti, achieving the 8th Dan and earning prestigious titles such as Syuseki Shihan and Chairman of the WJJF-WJJKO. His career has extended from Japan to the global arena, where he has collaborated with Masters of international renown, building a reputation for excellence, leadership, and cultural authority.

In full alignment with EMA’s principles, Prof. Draghi embodies the synthesis of tradition and innovation. Beyond his technical achievements, he is deeply committed to education, ethics, and social inclusion. He has led projects in cooperation with schools and anti-violence centers, and collaborates with the Italian Paralympic Committee and the National Deaf Association on inclusive education programs. His academic engagement includes contributions to seminars and training programs across Europe, reinforcing martial arts as a universal path to growth, awareness, and protection, accessible to all, and enhancing EMA’s mission at both the national and international levels.
